Candle Magik 101

Classes are held remotely through Google Meet. Each session is recorded and recordings will be made available in a dedicated channel on our Discord. Joining the class live each week is optimal but not necessary, so if you are in a different time zone, have other obligations or want to join the class a few weeks in that's fine - you'll have the recordings to rely on.

This class will cover all of the basics (and then some) that you'll need to craft and utilize candles for magikal work of all stripes. In this class we'll cover:

• Choosing your candle How does one effectively choose a candle for any given spell? How does one know which size to choose? Should the candle be in glass? What do the different candle colors mean? Is one candle enough?

• Carving your candle The first step to creating candle magik is to carve your candle - but what are your supposed to carve into it? And what tools should you use? We'll cover sigil crafting, tool selection and how to carve glass encased candles!

• Dressing your candle Okay so your candle is carved, now what? Across various traditions the answer would be to anoint your candle in oil. But what does that mean, how does one go about it and what oils should be used?

• Additional elements We'll also cover other popular methods and techniques, what you should burn your candles on, where you should burn them, etc. We'll also tackle many of the most frequently asked questions - should you blow out your candles? what do you do once its burnt out? can you reuse candles for multiple spells?

Join us for this fun and informative live workshop, we'll have live demonstrations and spend plenty of time answering all of your questions. We'll also examine a variety of real spells and rituals you can use yourself!
