THE MYTH:
Faunus is the god of the forest, the wild and untamed spirit of the woods who roams the groves and fields, playing his pipes and watching over the creatures of the wild.

THE SCENT:
Faunus opens with a bright, herbal burst of elemi and bergamot mint, sharpened by bitter wormwood and yarrow before the heart reveals green cypress, warm cardamom, sweet fig, resinous bayberry and clean hinoki. The dry down is deep and earthy—tobacco, amber, oakwood, black hemlock, musk and fern complete the journey, evoking both the verdant, rustling forest floor and the wind as it passes through the treetops.
