THE MYTH:
Hypnos was the god of sleep and twin brother of Thanatos, the god of peaceful death. He would rise each evening in the retinue of their mother Nyx, the night, bearing his horn of opium, and a wand of poplar dipped in the river Lethe (forgetfulness) which he would use to bring sleep to humanity.

THE SCENT:
Hypnos opens with a dark, juicy rush of blackberry and blackcurrant infused with the boozy fruitiness of davana - a veil of lush darkness pierced by the bright heart of dreamy cherry blossom, ripe peach, jammy plum and delicate jasmine tea supported by the earthy resonance of warm amber, botanical and aquatic musks and clean, smokeless white vetiver.
