THE MYTH:
Persephone is the goddess of spring and queen of the underworld—daughter of Demeter and wife of Hades, who spends half the year among the living and half among the dead.

THE SCENT:
Persephone opens with the warm, familiar comfort of black tea and honey, tinged with earthy caraway seed but this only the prelude to the decadent feast at its heart: fig, spiced mulled wine, pomegranate, black currant, sugar cookies and double distilled patchouli—Persephone is as rich as it is intoxicating. The dry down is an evocative ritual featuring fossilized amber, musk, beeswax and oud all coming together to form a final whisper as dark and complex as the goddess who rules both the garden and the grave.
